The simple design and rugged design of these Pipe Elbows makes these easy to install. Manufactured using best grade raw material and advanced machines, the offered pipe fittings give less frictional resistance to the fluid and create lesser pressure drop. Extensively used for changing direction in piping system, these are available for clients in varied standard sizes. Under the supervision of experts, these Pipe Elbows are stringently checked on various parameters to ensure a crack free range is delivered at clients end.
- Supreme finish
- Rust proof
- Hassle free installation
What are Pipe Elbows?
An elbow is a common piping and plumbing fitting that is usually installed between the two lengths of a pipe or a tube for facilitating a direction change in the system. Therefore, these elbows are offered in multiple angle specifications, like 22.5°, 45° (also known as 45 bend, 45 ell) and 90° angles (also known as 90 bend, 90 ell, quarter bend). The ends in pipe elbows are usually machined for butt welding. They can also be threaded or socketed as per the requirement of the system. In cases where the pipe ends are of different sizes, these elbows are known as reducing (or reducer) elbows. Generally, elbows are differentiated into various types, like long elbows and short elbows, by taking their length into consideration.
- These elbows are used to offset or change the direction in a piping system and are usually fabricated in standard sizes
- The radius of cuvature of these elbows is normally one to twice the diameter of the main pipe
- When less frictional resistance is required, long radius elbows are preferred to short radius elbows
- Short radius elbows come handy in piping systems with space constraints
